Is the casting fake?

Unfortunately it's real lol! I don't know how this movie will turn out.

Yvonne is no issue for me. Keegan? Not an ideal choice, however I expect him to fit the role. Plus, despite being known as a sketch actor the guy has impressive range (Shakespeare actor in the house!). 50 doesn’t seem to be attached to this movie anymore, so that’s good. Boyd? I would have had my doubts about him if not for his role and performance as Donald Pierce.

The movie will also have Thomas Jane, Trevante Rhodes, Sterling K. Brown, Jake Busy, Edward James Olmos and Alfie Allen. They’re not all roided-up action stars like the original cast was (don’t take that personally, I like the old cast), but still badass casting choices in my book. I also find Olivia Munn and Lil’ Jacob Tremblay’s casting interesting. I know, adding a kid to the mix could be the single worst decision in a movie like this! Luckily, this kid has proven to be a strong actor.

At any rate rate, I’ll reserve judgment ‘till the movie or even a trailer comes out. Until then, I gotta say this cast is working for me.

Well at least they be physically on par with Yvonne Strahovski.
