What happened to Frank?

Does anyone know why Frank wasn't in dead rising 3? He was in a dlc of dead rising 2, and his absence was so disliked they even made off the record. But he wasn't in 3 at all, chuck greene was but not frank

Because he cut ties with everybody. This movie is canon to the games also I believe

In Dead Rising 3 they kinda made it seem like Frank had died.

He's back in Dead Rising 4.
