He gave a terrific performance. I liked how it wasn't exactly clear if he was the villain of the story or not, how it was told mostly through the two kids' perspective and left a lot of the actual plot up to your imagination. It really put you into the situation and for a few scenes I actually didn't really know who to trust. Great writing there.

...My thoughts, exactly!!!!...The movie really sucked me in as I try to figure the REAL bad guys were! Great flick! :)

I could tell right away that Bacon was evil. I wasn't sure about that guy in the trunk.
If you haven't seen River Wild, Bacon play a wonderfully evil dude. That was a nail biter.

Sleepers is another good one. I didn't see that coming when watching that movie.

Same here. Anyone who's 57 and has the wrinkly, leathery neck of a 70 year-old can't be the good guy.

He always carry those bad guy charisma with him all the time to say the least, in a good way.
