We all probably thought the dispatcher helps get the kids to a hospital and then contacts their folks.
But what if Harrison took the cop car and just kept driving till he ran out of gas. Then he ditches Travis. Harrison ends up working on a farm and ends up marrying the farmer's daughter. Then he confesses on his deathbed. He has a lot of grandchildren, they are shocked at the confession! The end.

shareTravis calls out to Harrison saying he is not going to make it. Harrison pulls over, and gets out and opens the back door pulling Travis out onto the ground where he comforts him holding him until he dies in his arms, just as police rescuers arrive. Nice sappy hearttugging hollywood ending to what is a poorly executed story in the first place.
shareNope. What happened was, Travis is dead and Fat Boy crashes the car. He's dead, too. They're all dead. But that would have been all too shocking for viewers, so the directory very cleverly left it up to our imagination.
