The best movie of 2015! Hands down
I just saw a special screening and I WAS BLOWN AWAY. WOW!! JUST WOW!!! I've never in my life seen such an intense thriller. This move puts Seven and The Shining to shame.

Hype, hype, hype
I keep reading good reviews about this movie. Love Kevin Bacon. Waiting to see this when it plays in my area!
shareIt's pretty good. Kevin Bacon is great but I was a little disappointed that he really didnt have that much screen time.
surrender is death, and death is for pussies - Kenny Powers
i thought it was pretty good. not blown away.
ending was a bit more abrupt and artsy than i prefer. still mostly good. i even lol'd a few times
There were several better films this year ("It Follows", "Ex-Machina") and it was not exactly a "wow!" film but yeah, it was very entertaining.
shareThanks for the chuckles, shill. Despite the infestation of this board with paid promoters, this was a 5/10 at best. Unwatchable in parts. "Puts The Shining to shame"...Ha ha, sure it does.
shareDecent thriller handicapped with no ending...oh well...

I am not a paid promoter or even an unpaid one but I can recognize a little gem when I see one. This is one - not because of Kevin Bacon, competent as always in his onscreen role but possibly more so in his function as executive producer. The film belongs wholly to the two hitherto unknown youngsters. The script called not for the precocious little heroes we often see on film but for two ordinary ten-year-olds whose views of reality are largely derived from films and TV. The care with which the two were prepared for their roles by director Jon Watts and (I suspect) by Bacon can be deduced from the fact that they received 40 hours of driver training. They didn't put The Shining to shame nor were they intended to do so but they drove their cop car to a small but honorable place in film history. I do wish that the filmmakers had vouchsafed us a glimpse of their homecoming, especially Travis's. We may well wonder what later became of them but I doubt we will ever find out. Little gems don't usually get sequels.
shareThe best, if based on a comic book. Lacked any amount if realism it intended to have when written.
shareIt was pretty crap, I'm afraid
shareLOL "puts the Shining and Seven to shame?!" WHAAAT? It was an... O.K. movie, with some serious flaws that hurt it.
