Was this movie good?

It's an alright movie. I'd give it a 7/10, worth checking out if you want a slower paced movie.

Watched it last night. I'd give it a 5/10. Some intriguing parts, and the lack of exposition was interesting, but overall it was just ok.

Yeah it's good. The endings the only weakness. It's like a poor mans Coen brothers film. Although, that's meant to be a compliment. It's like a combo of Stand By Me, Mud, and No Country. I say No Country because the Midwest setting and the sharp sound editing. There isn't much music, which I like. It really lets you sense out a situation. Stand By Me- because of the young kids and their naivety. And Mud- because of the loose cannon adult alongside innocent kids.

I agree with others - one viewing is enough. There isn't much to chew on- nevertheless- it entertained.

Kevin Bacons acting was very impressive. And same with Shea Wighum from Boardwalk Empire. And it's pulp- meaning a bunch of different genres- adventure- thriller - crime- and there's some comedy in there too. I do recommend it. 8/10 - thanks to good acting from the two I mentioned. Without them- this could've been a real doozy. The photography is great too. Very Picturesque

its decent and good...not top notch and not bad...somewhere in the middle but every actor in it is really good...even the kids, I givet it a 6/10.
