The opening scene was like from a Mexican Soap Opera - were they trying to be over the top and exaggerated?
Seemed very maudlin. I thought it would end up being them filing a scene within the movie, but no.
shareIt was meant to be that way. I think they didn't quite embrace that tone enough afterwards, which is why the movie feels a little disjointed. It's really uneven in what style it's trying to convey.
