Ryan Gosling could be that funny. I've only seen him in serious roles (Okay, not so serious in La La Land), and think he's a very good actor. I still believe that, but now I'm thinking I'd like to see him do more comedy.
shareIt’s fair to say not many people realize he can be funny. While his roles in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” & “La La Land” were lighthearted and humorous (and they were refreshing roles for him), they were nothing like his wild performance in The Nice Guys. What he did in The Nice Guys was basically Ryan Gosling as we’ve never seen him before! His performance as Holland March was highly energetic, hilarious, and just original. Though the guy has been giving top-notch performances in dramatic films for years (that’s how he made a name for himself), I would definitely love to see the funnier side of Gosling some more. (More people need to take notice of this side of him.)
