Funniest Scene

shareI liked the bit just before that when gosling was getting drunk - when he introduced himself as the girl, I was in stitches - brilliant!
sharehas to be the protest scene "we're dead" "the masks didn't save you"
shareOne of the touches in the movie related to this that I liked was the way they added the smog back into the shots of the city, and made sure to have smog warnings heard on the radio near the start. The specific sites/buildings added back were cool, but this was a more subtle detail, I'd say.
There are a lot of (mostly younger, of course) people out there that don't seem to realize how much we have actually improved the quality of the air in the US over the last few decades. Not to say we can't do even better, but as someone that was born and raised in San Diego, we used to be able to look north and see the LA smog layer from here, nearly every day of the year. Now it's exceedingly rare.

As a kid in L.A. during the 70's, we had to spend many beautiful days inside, because of the smog alerts. If you did any activity at all, even walking to your friend's house, your lungs would hurt for the rest of the day.
What CA did to clear that up is nothing short of amazing. Regulation at its finest.

The scene where he cut his wrist breaking into the place had me in stitches.
\o/ STEVE HOLT!
Oh yes, that was the scene when I knew I was going to love his movie. I love how he's very careful, even rearranging the rag on his hand before he punches the window, and still he messes up, cuts himself badly and gets queasy from seeing his own blood. Smash cut to him in the ambulance. 
What a great movie. Shane Black does it again.
Working in the movie business since -92
I figured I'd like it because it's a Shane Black movie.. I was not disappointed. :)
I love The Long Kiss Goddnight and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and found this to be very similar: 2 mismatched people paired up and the dialog.

1101K
+1
shareIt came out of nowhere and it was hilarious, love that scene.
shareBest of that scene is cut, like you start a joke and stop before the punchline.
Him falling of a height and rolling down the hill was that scenes punchline.

Lincoln Lee: I lost a partner.
Peter Bishop: I lost a universe!
Nixon in the pool
shareDitto. Nixon pointing at him underwater cracked me up!
shareAnother vote for Nixon.

Remember when I promised to kill you last?
That was a great payoff to the earlier conversation.
It's just another ridiculous conversation between March and Healy at first, and then there's Nixon in the pool later in the movie.
When the lil girl threw coffee at her but it was cold. That had me in tears
**Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose on the 3rd day. Turn away from sin and to Christ**
There were quite a few scenes that had me laughing so hard but the one towards the end in the court was my favorite.
Holland March: But it's all right for you to fail your daughter?
Judith Kuttner: Detroit had her killed.
Holland March: I think I read about that. The whole city got together, took a vote. Big turnout.
I loved Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and this is right up there. Everything about this film was perfect: the backdrop, the chemistry, the story, the pace of the narration. Everything was stitched together with utmost finesse.
