Due to Disney Han Solo now literally goes through the same character arc 3 times

- Solo: He starts out as a rogue mercenary who only cares about himself to an honorable brave man who cares about the greater good

- A New Hope: He goes back to being a rogue mercenary who only cares about himself to an honorable brave man who cares about the greater good (this wasn't the case until Solo: A Star Wars Story came out). This trend does continue however into Return of the Jedi

- The Force Awakens: For the third time he goes back to being a rogue mercenary who only cares about himself to an honorable brave man who cares about the greater good, then he dies

Yeah pretty much

People never change. Totally the same from birth to death.

I get a little tired of seeing the same thing over and over again which is apparently all Disney knows how to do

reply

Anti-Disney opinions have no merit.

reply

How so?

reply

They are the same thing over and over again which is apparently all anti-Disney knows how to do

reply

Such as? And you just described Disney in a nutshell, all they do is recycle the same story over and over again as I have clearly demonstrated in the OP

reply

Oh, the irony!

I personally wouldn't have minded after the Jabba the Hutt sequence if Han and Leia just rode off into the sunset, both Ford and Fisher seemed bored out of their minds and they kind of dragged the film down and were no longer interesting.

reply

Simple: Disney films are not canon.
