shareIt wasn't bad but not great, either. I have trouble remembering what happened in it.
shareIt was really mediocre. Not bad, not good, not memorable in any way. I saw it in the theaters and I see it on streaming services yet I have zero desire to watch it again.
shareIt's a blast. I thought I was going to hate it, but enjoyed the hell out of it. I saw it on a whim during it's last week in theaters. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it.
shareIt was a steaming pile of dogsht.
The whole movie was just a list of check boxes that Howard had to hit.
- Han meeting Chewie.. CHECK
- Han meeting Lando.. CHECK
- Han getting his gun... CHECK
- Han doing the Kessel Run.. CHECK
- Han getting the Falcon.. CHECK
- Han getting his last name .. CHECK (not even sure why this was a thing)
The movie is Han Solo's origin story, so it had no choice but to cover all of the above. Unfortunately all of the above was only good as snippets of conversations done in other movies. This movie was just lifeless illustrations of all of the above.
When the movie deviated from the list holy shit was it really terrible. What was all the crap with Enfys Nest? Why was I supposed to care about any of that?
What was all the crap with Woody Harrelson stealing the super volatile fuel? Why was I supposed to care about any of it?
What was all the crap with Qi'Ra?
WTF on the Darth Maul cameo.
Solo was a steaming pile of dogshit and that is an insult to steaming piles of dogshit the world over.
Excellent observation
shareI liked it but I cannot remember much about it. Still I’m sure it wasn’t terrible.
There was a mountain chase I think stood out.
I will watch it again tomorrow. 5/10
I kinda like it. This was on tv the other day so I caught it in bits and pieces as I was coming and going. So I missed the whole beginning and just saw a bunch of the big action sequences and they were honestly pretty good. The basic stuff of just seeing Han and Chewie on some adventures was a lot of fun. It's all the annoying story elements that ruin the movie. This could have been a good movie and I think there's actually room for a good sequel now that all the BS of checking the Han Solo boxes is out of the way.
