I liked it!

I avoided this in theaters due to bad press and naysayers. Finally caught it on Disney+. I must admit, it’s rather enjoyable. Han’s characterization is pretty spot-on and far less wooden than Harrison Ford’s original tended to be. Solid acting all around, aside from one robot (its voice had a weird echo effect and I couldn’t understand a thing it said. Probably for the best). “Solo” is actually more fun to watch for the characters’ interactions than to follow the plot.

It’s a lot more entertaining than the Disney trilogy. Those were just no fun. I’d put Solo behind Rogue One among the Disney films. Rogue One is tops, for me.

Yeah, the two standalone movies were a lot better than the latest trilogy. Rogue One was the best of the Disney SW movies (not saying all that much). Solo was OK. I actually thought the actor playing Solo was pretty solid in the part. No complaints about him.

It's a decent film, I thought the first half was a little ho-hum but the second half was pretty good.

I'd probably give it about a 5.8 out of 10.
