The movie was a pretty good stand-alone and origin story. Why so much hate? It's light-years ahead of any of the Disney Trilogy movies. Emilia Clarke is hot and sexy. The characters all had good chemistry together. This isn't as good as Rogue One, but I would watch it again.

I remember going to see it and barely being able to stay awake. I didn't find it interesting or entertaining, and its visual style was uninspired.
It's not a terrible movie, but it's certainly not a particularly good one either.
I thought it was a pretty good movie, too. I think some fans didn't give it a chance because they didn't enjoy the Last Jedi. It's too bad, really, because I it would have been great to see the sequel ... maybe it would have ended just before Ben and Luke walked up to the table in the Cantina.
shareMy problem was the very obvious Leonardo DiCaprio impersonation by the lead actor. It takes me out of it realising who someone is channelling.
shareI was just going to post asking if it's any good. I like the premise, Woody Harrelson's in it, and Lawrence Kasdan directed it. That all sounds promising to me.
