As I've stated on here before I don't plan on ever seeing this. TLJ left a really sour taste in my mouth and I have no interest is seeing someone else play a young Han. I have no interest in this story...I question the sanity of those at Disney.

I haven't even seen it yet the previews and posters annoy me. The Falcon. Why is the Falcon on the poster and in the previews different? Why does the front not look the same with that split between the two extensions?

Why can't they even leave the Falcon intact, these people seem like morons to me.

Is it not the same ship? What is the explanation for that?

I thought the extension was for additional storage room, but I remember they referred to it as escape pod? Anyway they lost it similarily to Obi Wan in EpII during the stroid field chase with Jango Fett.

What? Are you saying it is some pod that was ejected off and we see the Falcon in films I through 8 with a front that has a piece that has been "ejected" off?

I guess that is exactly what I am saying.

Also, the Falcon's computer used to be an droid-rights she-droid with Phasma's voice who was pansexually in love with Lando and who's mind was loaded onto the Falcon so she would not have to leave Pando when dying, until the Falcon changed owners a few hours later that is.

You think you knew SW and the Falcon? Guess again, watch thr film and buy the new Falcon toy.

erm because its newer than the falcon we saw in a new hope? and by the end of Solo it detached the escape pod and became the falcon we are farmiliar with, it also got pretty batttered in the kessell run and lets not forget in a new hope "its a piece of junk " ive made a few special modifications" its basically evolved from what you see in Solo.

Perhaps you shoud watch the movie, its makes perfect sense.

I'll pass. That fact that they felt the Falcon needed to have a design change just makes me hate Disney's handling of this more. Overhauling the entire look of the ship isn't needed to make it a new, off the assembly line ship. Just make it shiny and pretty.

Hell no I'm not going to see Solo. Just wanted to know why they ship didn't even look like the same ship.

Its not had a design change though , what on earth are you talking about ? its the same falcon just alot newer , and if you have no intreast in seeing it why come here and ask the question ? its actually a very fun star wars film , not sure why you have a hard on for Disney when its Lucasfilm that made the movie.

You remind me of mt 12 year old when he asks me why he can't do something or my students when they say, "When are we ever got need to use this?"

You're not really interested in the answer. You just want a reason to complain.

The truth is, this movie is so much more like the OT and not at all like The Last Jedi. There's a very good chance you would actually like the movie ... if you are willing to swallow your pride and just go watch the movie!
