Look, "fell short of expectations" isn't what anyone hopes to hear in the bedroom or at the box office but, mostly, I'm just thrilled by the reaction to #Solo. And if ya want more #underworld stories, keep askin' Disney and Lucasfilm for 'em! Believe it or not, they listen.

"They listen" - LOL, what a complete crock of shit.

So they've gone from "everyone who criticizes our movies are nazis" to "hey guys, we totally listen to your criticism and want you to watch pleaseandthankyou".

reply

They listen, eh? Because, last I checked, almost everyone was upset by the fact that Luke, Han and Leia never had a scene together. Almost everyone complained about Rain Johnson's treatment of The Last Jedi and yet he still has a job for an entire fcking trilogy. ALmost everyone has complained about the insulting amount of PC pandering yet it remains...

Disney listens to one thing and one thing only: $$$

Any willingness to "listen" right now has NOTHING to do with us fans and everything to do with the fact that Solo is making less $$$ than they were expecting.

Vote with your wallets, people--let's get their box office down under $1 billion. Maybe THEN the apologists will realize that "The Last Jedi Effect" is a very real phenomenon.

I want the ST and unnecessary prequels to be scrapped and removed from cannon, I want Kathleen Kennedy fired, I want Lucasfilm lose all its stocks and burn to the ground.

AND I NEVER, EVER WANT ANOTHER GODDAMN STAR WARS MOVIE.

Unless they re-adapt EU back into cannon and make a solid SW trilogy.

It should have been the underdog story of First Order and the Huge Galactic Republic.
Employing guerilla style warfare and terrorist attacks on the capitals.
