That enver ever happened before to a Star Wars movie. In China it didnt even reach the incvome of an average movie. So you like to know how SW VIII made so much profit at the US? Presold tickjets. As soon as the message was spreaded that this movie is pure sh*t it got removed from all cinemas as soon as possible (Which took 4 weeks, cause Disneys contract said so).

I dont know if thats true or not, all I can do is go by the facts and the facts clearly stat TLJ was a universally loved film by the Majority, I dont deny it is clear there is a portion that does not like the film...but the difference between you and I is, I'm not biased, I'm not going to pretend to know HOW MUCH that portion is...I cant say like you that its enough to doom the franchise going forward...
It seemed to me, that the Minority that strongly dislikes this film is Die Hard Star Wars fans that hate what they did with the characters...but even then Its spilt, there just as many Die hard that love it as hate it...
so what you really got to consider is...How much of the audience that saw The Last Jedi is DIE Hard fans...believe it or not, the over whelming majority that sees big blockbusters like Star Wars movies or Comic Book Movies is the General Public...study have been done, about 10 to 20% of the total tickets sold and box office that comes from CBMs and other Established Brands comes from the Hardcore fanbases...
so what that means is, if Star Wars made 1.3 Billion...at Most about 260 Million dollars of its box office came from Die Hard Fans, The Fans that seemed to Hate the film...
So thats means around 1 Billion dollars or 80% of Star Wars box office came from the General Public...which doesnt understand or know The history of the franchise and characters like Die Hards, and therefo didnt hate the film or even really notice any of the problems that the Die hards hated.
now going forward, what does that mean, Well it means theres a very good chance Star Wars 9 will lose some box office, The Die hards who clearly hated the film may not come back, but again were talking about Maybe 5 to 10%....since Die Hards were spilt, with roughly half liking it and half hating it, that means if Die Hard fans made up 20% of the audience that saw The Last Jedi, then Maybe half wont return for SW9...which is about 130 Million dollars worth of box office...
next we need to look at how the 80% or Majority(which is the general Public) reacted to The Last Jedi...thats the only way we can judge how the future films will do....and based on all evidence The Majority Liked it, it had a Good cinemascore, great reviews, good ratings and everything points to The General Public liking the film...
So in conclusion...IMO you are just wrong...the amount of people that Hated Star Wars isnt enough to doom the franchise or even badly hurt its box office...The Overwhelming Majority that saw this movie is the General Public who simply doesnt know the franchise or characters well enough to understand the complaints and dislikes of Die hards...

Yep, the 10% drop Last Hope got in China :) . Cause that was the real market for testing the fiscal impact of the Last Hope desaster. Cause that was the only major market which got the release after it was known how bad this movie was. And now compare the income of Force Awakens and Last Hope in China.
SW IX wont lose just 10%. It wont most likely reach the billion dollar and therefor wont reach a positive break point. And I could also ell you why. Cause its now more profitable for media to make fun of Disney Wars instead of joining the hype train. Cause Last Hope was hated by the majority! They jsut realized that after they spent their money. And BTW LAst Hope hit so many negative records no other STar Wars movie reached before. One of them was: Lowest reviewing of a Star Wars movie ever. And my favorite: Worst Star Wars movie ever. Even Battle For Endor (and that was really boring) got better reviews.
