Much more stylized than I expected. They're not trying to make this look like a Star Wars movie.

I think him trying out for the Empire is some kind of "inside man" scheme to get his hands on something.

Han needs a backstory about as much as Clint Eastwood's Man With No Name does.

We actually know very little about his piloting from the original trilogy...or his general background for that matter. He was however trained to be a pilot by the empire in the EU. This is not canon as we speak, but the canon is also evolving as we speak. so it looks like if it is in fact the case...it was lifted from the former EU...what is now referred to as legends I believe.

Doesn't look too bad, but I still feel like this teaser should've been released 6 months ago.
