The voices
I found the ADR quite distracting at times. There are moments where they are walking down city streets and speaking in very hushed tones. Also the main actor's slowed down, breathy delivery got a little tiresome towards the end.
I did enjoy the interplay between internal and external dialogue though.
Do you think that the reliance on redoing the dialog had to do with noise on location, or getting better performances from the cast, or added lines, or was it an intentional stylistic choice?
I wondered if some shots had been slowed down sometimes, and noticed that a lot of dialog was delivered facing away from camera, which leads me to consider whether dubbing was intended from the start.
