shareI like how this is left ambiguous. We don't know. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. The focus seemed to be on Murphy's infidelity. And notice how hypocritical he becomes after she says that she cheated. It's just another thing to make you dislike Murphy's character, I think. Yet the film somehow turns it all on its head so you later feel sympathetic for him.

shareIdk, after rewatch in it, I think she did. I think the Moral is how hypocritical Murphy became afterwards. Would she have forgiven him so quickly if not? Idk... Either way, it's NOT confirmed as you say. Much better when left ambiguous
