Director naming characters after himself??
I thought it was really really self indulgent of the director Gaspar Noe to name two of the characters in this after himself. He named the baby Gaspar and Electra's ex boyfriend Noe...what's that all about?
Also by presenting the backstory in such a non-linear fashion made this film a bit confusing in terms of where we were in the story line.
And what was up with all the little cut to black edits during every scene? Very distracting. It made it look like the film had been edited by a 5 year old.
Not a great film.
