It may not be as entertaining as some of his other films...

...but it's intense and extremely sexy without being pornographic although coming close close. The love scenes are very erotic and even though the camera doesn't linger on the details, the sound design (of the kissing and the oral sex, their panting, etc.) raises the stakes when it comes to the film's eroticism. This may be the first film I see that contains graphic sex where the director was not afraid that the audience would find the sex captivating and even arousing. Usually "art" films that show graphic sex are so intent on it not looking like porn that they kill any traces of erotica it may contain. LOVE doesn't. Cheers for my compatriot Gaspar Noe.
