Cherrie's mom could be one of the Manson girls! Wtf...why hire someone that young looking to play a mom role, oh yeha so she can be an attractive love interest for David D. I like the show but typical Hollywood hiring young, hot women to play the middle aged mom. In reality the actress playing the mom is only 10 years older than the daugther! Enough with this ageist BS!
shareThis was discussed quite a bit when it first aired. However watching it the second time, she seems more suited to the role. First, there are people in real life who look really young for their age and second the actress who plays her daughter looks so much like her and she looks young too. it's more realistic to me the second time around.
shareShows do this all of the time and always have. I think the actress really does look like she could be Emma's mom which is what's important. The only time I've seen it as ridiculous was on that show I used to watch called Make It Or Break It where the actress who played the girl's mom was only 7 years older than her and actually looked younger then the actress who played the daughter.
