Spoiled ending of two-hour season premiere

At the end of the two-hour airing, Brian was getting a confession out of the guy who killed the girl on the rooftop. In the middle of the confession my DVR recording suddenly froze up and stayed that way until Channel 4's news came on.

Am I the only person this happened to?

It didn't happen to me. I have Comcast. The only thing I did wrong when setting the DVR was not having it on the HD setting.
