Will The Tate/LaBianca Murders Happen This Season?
I've been trying to find out some information but couldn't locate any.

shareI've seen it mentioned....somewhere...that yes, they will get to the murders this season.
shareIf they are going to have the Tate murders, they pretty much have to have the LaBianca ones, as they took place the next night or a couple nights later. So unless they really drag the season and don't get around to Tate until season end, then save LaBianca for the beginning of next season, etc. however IMHO, they would get the feel of All Hell Breaking Loose for the Police if viewers experienced the same tension, confusion, and fear as the entire city must have felt at the time.
shareI feel like realistically they will drag the murders and possibly feature the aftermath out a few more seasons. Where does the show go after that?
shareWell I know last season the show was on 1967 and the murders didn't take place until the summer of 69. I'm guessing it'll be in season 3. Plus I haven't heard anything about Linda Kasbian being cast for this season and she was very essential in it unless they are sort of having her represented by the Emma character.

"DD's recent interview in TV Guide (not online as far as I can see) said that the murders would definitely happen this season and that the previously planned timeline had been scrapped. In other words, "Aquarius" may only get two seasons."
Really!!?!?! Wonder why they changed their mind. That's too bad. I hope the interview is online.

"To be clear, it was my interpretation of the change in plans that suggested Aquarius might only get two years--it wasn't anything DD explicitly said."
Ohhhh okay..
"My sense is that many viewers felt the first season dragged a bit and that in the originally planned timeline, the Manson Family murders were going to exist too far in the "future" to be as compelling a storyline to keep up with. But again, that's just a guess."
I didn't think it dragged. I liked season 1. Last night's episode was fine.. It didn't need fake Ralph Church and the poisoned mushroom soup. That was really odd.
Yes
shareOne of the opening scenes of this season makes me think so. It show a very pregnant Sharon Tate and then goes to a flash-back.
sharelol it looks like they will happen in pieces, so it could show part of the murder
scenes any time they want.
It could go on all S2, and even be in S3.
Due to this dragging it out and showing sharon the way it did, I can see why
her sister doesnt like this show.
The jumping around in time sort of ruins the show.
The jumping around in time sort of ruins the show.I agree and I also see why her sister was against it. But she knew she couldn't stop it - she should exert all her energy on the parole situation. share
I am getting annoyed by the jumping around. I do hope it is not going to go this route from now on.
We all go a little mad, sometimes.
I was wondering that it would just happen in the season premiere, nd in the season finale they would show at least the Tate Murders.....but I DEFINITELY see why Debra wanted this show boycotted. The the season premiere of a hopeful S34 the LaBianca Murders and then the trail for the rest of that season. after that.....I don;t know where else the show could go.
