Shafe

What are they doing to Shafe? I figured he and his wife were headed for trouble, but this looks like he not only becomes a junkie, but he was at the Tate house. Wow!

I don't think he killed anybody, and if they go that route it REALLY is a HOLLYWOOD piece of crap writing they pulled out of their ass to have an undercover policeman be involved w/the Tate murders. I think he's talking about the problems he's having w/drugs. I will definitely STOP watching if they have Shafe involved w/any of the killings --- he definitely needs help to get clean in the drug department that's for damn sure but killing that is going to far w/this character.

I think he came upon the scene after it happened, but by that time he was either really f'd up or maybe he had been kicked off the force. Of course, he would call Hodiak. Maybe he was just one of the first cops on the scene because of being UC and he called Hodiak because he recognized Emma's St Christopher.

That's how I took that scene. After all they made him shoot up and so he wasn't in his right mind anyway.

Note the dates and times. Shafe is at the house 24hrs later I believe. Unless I'm remembering wrong. Why he wasn't calling in the cops? I guess we'll find out as the season progresses. My mind started to think that he does get back into the Manson family and connects with Emma so he immediately recognizes the necklace. I assume he heard about the murders when they all returned bloody. So Shafe went to investigate. Why call Sam first before the cavalry? Time will tell. It was weird that he's shooting up in the crime scene while waiting for Sam to arrive I assume.
