Did that scene ring true to anyone? He was addicted to the point of getting dope sick. No addict does that.

Well, he really wasn't an addict before he had to take that shot when he was undercover. Guess doing it only once can get you hooked.

But he was a user in Viet Nam before returning to the states. The more you play with it the deeper it sinks its claws.
