Did anyone miss the first ten minutes or so of the show due to "breaking
news"?
I was thinking I would watch a show about the 60's and unrest, and now I'm watch s**t go down live in Dallas. Kinda messed up.

In what country/state/provence are you watching?

No they didn't interrupt the program here in the Philly area. However they did have a scroll at the bottom of the screen saying what happened.
shareHere in Phoenix, MST, they didn't break in at all...I was surprised.
shareI live in Dallas. I usually watch the show on DVR. I went to watch it tonight, and had forgot what day the show airs.
This was a horrific event, and I know people who were there. Thankfully, they are fine, but one friend works at a Hotel near the shootining scene, and was stuck there until the next afternoon.
I may not agree with your opinion, but I will defend to the death your right to disagree!
Yes - I can't find it anywhere else to watch either. It was 15 minutes of the show and then another 10 minutes in the middle. So I missed a lot here in Los Angeles. I tried to watch it about 3 days later after the Dallas shootings.
That being said, you would think that 5 cops shot would make TV stop altogether for a couple hours while the story was breaking. I think that would have been the case years ago. I was surprised when I started ffwing thru it that the show was even on. Honestly, it was worse seeing bits and pieces of the show anyway. And now I can't find it to watch anywhere.

The whole hour was pre-empted by what was going on downtown.
We were glued to the TV, of course, and I was thanking God that my son and DIL were off camping in another state (he works downtown), and once more, I was grateful that he was turned down when he applied to be a cop.
We gave up on On Demand last night and watched the episode on-line. Then tonight, it was added to On Demand.
I went to the same high school as Tex, though he graduated when I was in 7th grade so I didn't know him. I still have a play program for the senior play he was in.
He's where he needs to be.
Roland, that's a lilac bush!
