A very Canadian movie
Tell me I'm not crazy, but this movie felt so Canadian. No, not because it's set in Canada. Because of a certain hokey-ness of it, because of the value expressions of the characters, the Cree woman story, the character's cultural expressions... very hard to put the words, but i know Canadian products when I see them.
And yet it says it is an American production. OK, so I'm probably wrong but hey, kudos to them for capturing the Canadian feeling well.
And didn't the theme music sound like a copy of the theme for _Orca_?
