Those two used to be GOOD for each other! This MESS started when Jim STUPIDLY told Lee to move on when she came to visit him in prison back in season 2! What he should've told her was "Don't worry about me Lee. I will get out of here somehow. I love you" Now hopefully when the show continues she'll somehow realize that what Jim just did was SAVED HER LIFE and that she really does still love him! I know one thing...what she could use is a little HALUCINATION TRIP herself (just like what Jim went through) to help her come to her senses about Jim and what he did!
I can understand why Jim wanted to push Lee away. That was a very dark time for Jim and he didn't want to bring Lee down with him. I agree they are very good together and for each other. He wanted her to be happy and live her life without having his dark shadow over her. I think in time Lee will come to see why Jim pushed her away and will forgive him. I know they have a good friendship in the future, they are clearly not married but they are at least able to be friends and work together for the sake of Bruce.
God no. I was so happy they finally split. Lee is so boring, there is just nothing interesting or charismatic about the character at all and as the main guy in the show I would love to see Jim with a feisty, exciting female character. Pity the Barbara ship has sailed (though she is his wife in the comics) but I thought Valerie Vale was great for him. In the few episodes she was in she caught my interest a hundred times more than that wet mop Lee has in the entire time she's been on it. I actually hate that character, I wish they would write her out the show. Nothing against Morena Baccarin, she's a doll. I just despise the character. There is just no substance there at all.
Well then your in luck to a degree because Jim doesn't end up with Lee anyways. Though they can't write her off as she is key for Bruce's story and other villains that will be coming along. Just because you don't like her means they are going to write off a character thats been a big influence to the story arc. Again this is the beginning for everyone involved so everyone is going to have high points and low points as they come into their own. I'm sure Lee will grow a tougher skin after having gone through all of this. Everyone needs patience and just enjoy the ride.
