God, she is so BORING. I never liked her from the start but I started Season 3 in the hopes she, and her relationship with Jim, would grow on me, but it just hasn't. Why he moons over her so much I have no idea, there's no personality there. I thought his short lived fling with Valerie Vale was far more exciting. Ideally I'd love a reunion with Barbara but I think that Ship has sailed.
shareI never had a problem with Barbara UNTIL the writers went overboard with her crazy in Season 2. I did actually like Lee and Jim in Season 1, but the show was still fresh and it the writers didn't even seem to want to try with Barbara and Jim. But starting in Season 2, I just found Lee and Jim boring and Lee herself a very bland character. To be honest, at this point, I'd be interested if they'd bring back Vale, but I'd like to see a more serious version of her than the overly cheeky, nonchalant characteristics she had in 3A.
shareRight? I'd take anything right now over him pining for that dull as dishwater woman with no charisma whatsoever. I love Barbara and even though they are married in the comics and the films, it seems Gotham has gone down a less satisfying route with their relationship.
It's a pity things with Vale didn't work out. That actress is heading back to shoot 'Once Upon A Time' I think so probably may not return right away, but hopefully she does.
I still watch OUAT on and off and Jamie Chung returning there is probably just for an episode. There are a lot of characters that are recurring on that show and they come back for single episodes here and there when their schedule permits. They could easily bring her back long-term to Gotham if they really wanted her back.
shareWell, I for one like her but I am aware that is a minority vote here. She makes Gordon a at least bit bearable for me, without her (or Seline for some reason) he's just cringeworthy. Plus I like the actress since her Firefly days.

Lee is anything but boring. She's smart, funny and mature which is something that most adult men like Jim look for in a woman. However, even considering that Barbara is crazy fun she is a ticking time bomb that you never know when she'll end up doing some effed up stuff.
shareI've actually liked Lee a lot more since Jim killed Mario. There seems to be a lot more life to Morena's performance. I hope she retains this edgier side to her character, even after she inevitably softens towards Jim.

She's the worst character on the show. She's survived this long before the actress and Ben McKenzie are a couple in real life.
Pity they wrote off Vale to keep Lee around.
