Would Rogue One have rightfully got critically panned by critics and bombed at the box office instead of taking a $1 billion at the box office???

shareMore interestingly, what if this came out in say 2011 before the sequel trilogy was even announced? People would praise it as being the best prequel movie and see the ending as speculation for a continuation of the franchise.
