Darth Vader

The most iconic villain in cinematic history got two scenes. This movie is a joke right?

reply

The film wasn't even about him. People expect everything carrying the name "Star Wars" to have Vader im it.

He had the two best scenes in the entire film so be happy that we got the opportunity to see this bad*ss on the big screen again.

reply

On the contrary. We waited four films for Lord Vader and instead we got an unhinged Riz Ahmed giving an IT lesson. I can just imagine you being handed a script featuring Vader and tearing it up. Please.

reply

This is not a film about Vader.

Watch Episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6.

reply

The whole entire movie of Rogue One was a blast from start to finish and the two brief appearances of Darth Vader is the most supremely perfect example of less is more that I've ever witnessed.

I guess they are right, because all eight movies have mentioned either Anakin, or Vader, or both.

So far....

Perpetual outrage is the most popular religion today.

"I have a Galactic dream!"

reply

He shouldn't have appear in the film at all.

reply

Why not? The movie led right up to the beginning of ANH which started out with us seeing Vader right away. Whoever above me that said less is more is right on.

reply

His scenes were the only good scenes in the movie.

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

I agree with this, the beginning of episode 4 should be his introduction.

"I have a Galactic dream!"

It's not a Vader about film...

reply

It's not a film about Ralph Nader.

reply

It actually is, cause he is the most outstanding character in it.

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

It's actually not.

Perpetual outrage is the most popular religion today.

reply

Then why he is the most outstanding character in it?

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

1. That's a subjective comment.

2. Even if he is the most outstanding character in the film, it doesn't mean the film is about Vader....

Perpetual outrage is the most popular religion today.

reply

But there's something wrong with the movie when an episodic character is the most interesting and outstanding among them all.

Nolan, I love you forever!

Non-sequitur. Your supposition that Vader being an outstanding character somehow makes the film about Vader is really not sound reasoning. The film is not about Vader, no matter how awesome his appearance in the film was.

reply

It's not a film about Vader.

reply

Y'know, I've heard that too. Weird...

reply

Exactly! That's super-weird that Darth Vader is a best character in the film not about Darth Vader.

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

How would you like to choke on my aspirations. If you know what I mean.

reply

It seems like you have a case of ruining movie quotes.

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

Yeah! And I hear he isnt even in Hidden Figures either! Whats wrong with these people! How can you have a movie without Darth Vader in it!

Every movie would be better with Vader!

Titanic- with Vader!
Pride&Prejudice&Vader
Home Alone with Vader.

reply

Is this supposed to be fun?

Nolan, I love you forever!

reply

The movie is not about Vader even though I love the character. It's about the rebels getting the Death Star plans.

reply

It's not a film about Vader.

Is the OP serious?

reply

No, joke's on you because story-line of this movie doesn't have much to do with Vader, and Darth Vader is only part of Star Wars universe, not the WHOLE universe.
