Because yeah, unlike Hux he really projected a personality, and it was the universally despised personality of a totally amoral middle manager. Everyone hates those bastards.

shareKrennic's actor and Hux's character. Krennic was basically everybody's bitch. He's either kissing up to his superiors, or constantly reminding his subordinates that he's still in charge. Hux was more megalomaniacal and despotic. He's more commanding, decisive, and shows more fierce determination to blow up his enemies. But he's still just too young.
