I think IMDB made the right decision. When I first started reading and posting, it was all people who enjoyed movies and enjoyed discussing films and film-making. It's devolved in to trolls spewing hatred and nonsense.

To be honest, I miss the days when the 'internet' was just bulletin boards and the only people there were people who knew how to code. One thing I hated about Windows was opening up computers to everyone regardless of how well they understood computing

To be honest, I mess the days when the 'internet' was only used by the United States military.

Actually I'm fine with the IMDB message board's closing down. I think maybe it's a good thing for me. If you know me, you know I'm not strong in English, and it make me have a problem to share my thought about movies when sometime I think I have a good idea, and many things in more details way.

And....maybe it also help me to spend my time to do or focus on other thing which is more worthy and important.

Things is always change through times, and it won't be there forever.

Sometime we need to accept the things and the change which is going to happens, everything is changing. I don't think what I said above was the act of selfish, and I don't mean to against or harm anyone, I'm just say what I feel and what I'm going to face this problem.
I really feel sorry for you and all people here, I feel sad too when I know the message board is going to close....

Sometime.... something happens and what we seem is bad doesn't mean it's really bad. Actually, the moment when I saw what you said to me above I feel really angry, but you just don't understand me.

ok sorry if i was harsh. I see you meant it in a more philosophical way. I feel very strongly that these boards are important to movie lovers like myself so seeing them shut down makes me emotional and crazy.

You had just explained that you had a hard time explaining yourself and I lashed out anyways. I sincerely apologize.

You're probably right that it's not a bad thing to accept the loss and move on.
