Does anyone remember the 80s comics version of "Rogue One"?

Going off memory 2 spies smuggled the plans out of an imperial installation named Tay Vanis and Yom Argo. One of them Vader caught and tortured until he was insane. The other died in crash and the tapes were just laying around in an alien race's treasure horde.

I still think of those comics whenever Mon Mothma [sic] talked about how the rebels got the plans.

Rogue One has nothing to do with what was addressed in Return of the Jedi.
