they moved the timeline to coincide with the Walking dead.they introduced new characters and lost a few of the original ones.Haven't seen the mother except in flashbacks and i was shocked they killed off [spoiler]Nick[/spoiler].

Originally, the show was supposed to be about how the virus started and they bait and switched it into just another Walking Dead show with worst storylines. I bet that person wanted out.

Tbh i loved it all the way through. Season 1 was interesting but didn't live up to it's original premises, but it still had some great moments. But season two till now have been awesome, this has definitely been far more interesting than seasons 6, 7, & 8 on the mainland show.
