Take the series back to the U.S.

Enough of the Mexicans. Please let me watch the show without subtitles. Thank you.

reply

This. Why not just make the whole damn thing in subtitles if we were going that route.

You can't read?

Do I feel like reading a show or book?

BUILD!

I agree 100 percent. I think the decision to have the whole season film in Mexico could be the reason for the decline in the rating.
It's boring

Have to agree.

reply

I would think the decline has more to do with breaking up the core group and telling a bunch of separate stories is the bigger issue. That seems like it should have been a lesson learned from when they separated everyone after the prison on the main show, and they are making the same poor creative decision in that regard starting season 2.

reply

they should be brave and try to do a texas storyline. i bet there would be 10000 decent militias.

reply

I don't mind subtitles because

a) I can read

and

b) I understand Spanish.

Learn one (or maybe even both) of those and you'll be less frustrated.

Agree 100% ... if they stay in Mexico past this season I'm done with the show.

I didn't think the Mexico arc would take the rest of the season, but it looks like we're here to stay. Madison, Alicia & company have a secured 20 floor hotel, Nick is safe at the Colonia, Travis is on his way to the Hotel, Ofelia will run into el Chapo/Salazar/her father soon enough and they'll head to the Hotel. It's all or nothing for the Season finale!

As for Chris, he's going to the way of Shane and will likely die in Season Finale.

reply

Militias that all turned into zombies. We know where they are going next.

reply

Isn't Ofelia heading to America?

People are impossible to please

I love that the show is so drastically different than TWD

I remember when it was first announced and people were complaining that it was taking place in L.A.
How typical! Everyone was saying.

The show has moved from LA to the open sea and now deep into Mexico. I think it's amazing and the less time they spend in a predictable setting, the better.

Deep into Mexico? Tijuana is on the US border, Rosarito Beach is 10 miles south. How is this "deep" into Mexico?

No, this is just TWD in Mexico. This show is no different than that one.

In fact, if this show had the balls to do what it said it was going to do, it probably would have been awesome television.

They should have made the entire first season take place in one or two days. Show how the sh/t hit the fan. This season, days 3 through 7... gets us through a week of real life and how things are unraveling and going to h3ll in a hand-basket...

But no, they had the outbreak happen and just passed over it on their way to TWD west coast.

I agree with everything you've written here. :(
