Nick and Luciana have zero chemistry

If the writers have any sense at all, they'll stop trying to make them a thing. Their relationship comes off as laughably forced.

reply

Yeah, but at least Luciana is a way more interesting character with her hair figuratively let down now that she's all into Nick! The BadAssEnforcerChick who never smiled act was getting old. She's much more entertaining this way. Nick is still a weirdo, though.

reply

I don't see Nick as a weirdo. In truth, I think Chris gets that distinction. Nick is just unique. He doesn't follow the rules and I like that about him. It makes him an interesting character. Completely unpredictable.

reply

craziness is also unpredictable. doesnt mean its interesting to watch crazy person. and lot of dumb stuff is masked as unpredictable when all they are, writers pathetic attempt to move plot forward. but they shouldt do it with making characters do stupid and unreasonable decisions. instead they should make them do clever choices because thats what makes characters interesting.

but thats hard so stupid stuff is what we've got. nothing is easier than to make character believe in some new craziness like in flying elephants and explain their decision to go off wondering the world on their own chasing elephants while miraculously they meet up with another group of survivors and voila plot moves forward. but come on... really?

reply

I never understood this gripe about the show "The characters just keep making bad decisions!" Well, in reality, lots of people, including every person on this board, has made a bad decision in their lifetime....when you are thrown out of your element, bad decisions are bound to be made....and repeated. To me, it makes the characters not only believable, but more likeable. I hate shows where every character is a cold and calculating badass. The bad decisions is the least of the problems this show has.

reply

ok then, making bad decisions makes everyone look stupid and unlikable, on or off screen

characters being unlikable on screen, makes you not care about them. if in the end there isnt enough characters left to care about you stop watching the show. good job writers /s

same happens off screen, you try to stay away from unlikable people

it shouldbt be surprising to say that job of the show is to show you likable characters or now one will watch it

reply

Yeah, I only like and hangout with perfect people.

everyone makes mistakes, no doubt about that. but depends on the mistakes. for example, who would want to wonder off on their own instead of staying with their family when there is a zombie apocalypse? like one out of 1000 maybe less. and we are stuck with not one but 5 people like that. some mistakes are inexcusable

reply

I agree, although the girl I watched the episode with thought they did have chemistry. So maybe it's in the eye of the beholder.

reply

Zero chemistry. Crappy show.

reply

Nick has more chemistry with the pharmacist.

reply

they have even cut dope together already.

reply

Totally agreed.
