Chris is the best character.

I don't understand all the hate for Chris. He was a little annoying at the beginning of the series, but after this last episode I can see a lot of potential for his story. I would like for him to go on and become part of a more vile group of survivors. Maybe even a leader.

i agree. I like Chris. I may not agree with the direction his morality has been headed but I understand it...and I can appreciate the complexity of the character..Hes a 16 year old boy that was bullied, whos had a taste of power and a feeling of belonging. He doesnt have the hindsight to realize his actions have repercussions...awesome character really.

I agree with most that the show isn't triple A entertainment, but I'm so happy to see someone else on this board take a moment to understand why a character is the way they are instead of just knee-jerking to 'emo brat'. Very few people -ever- take into account all the many variables in a persons life and the context in which they are currently living.

I am you and what I see is me.

So long as his death is long and drawn-out and he cries like a bitch and wets his pants when his time comes around.

reply

He gets shot in the head point blank.

Chris seems to be the one who is adapting the best to the new world, kind of like Darryl from Walking Dead. Travis is a good guy with his morals and everything, but his way is on the way out.

reply

There is no best way to adapt.
Nothing has really changed, people live their life how they best see fit. Everyone dies in the end anyway.
People like Glenn, Beth, and Eugene outlived people like Shane, Merle, and Governor.

kind of like Darryl from Walking Dead.
Daryl was premade for the apocalypse.

Nope, he is NOT adapting to the apocalypse, but to his own past experience. He's just found a bunch of stupid kids who value his new killing behavior. And that's obviously a first since his whole life everyone kept looking down on him. He was a teenager who did not feel like he had a place where he belonged to.

He would rather want to change and forget about his humanity to FIT in a new group with stupid unmoral behavior. He's actually the one FAILING

I still like Nick more, but Chris is definitely a close 2nd.

reply

He's definitely not the worst. That 'honor' belongs to Madison and Nick.
