Chris is the dumbest character

He used that line to trick his father about how the Bromigos have known James since he was 6, and were still willing to kill him. So he is fully aware of that, but he thinks it will end up differently for him somehow.

He's like a woman who keeps going after the "bad" boys because she thinks it will magically be different for her, and that she will finally be the one to change them. It's really quite pathetic.

I'm fine with him continuing to live, as long as it eventually builds up to his slow, torturous, agonizing death.

reply

Don't forget he let those scumbags on the boat.

reply

Good call, I had forgotten about that. It seems Chris gets his killer instinct in situations that don't warrant it, while in situations that do, he doesn't get it. Basically every decision that he makes is wrong.

He should do what George Costanza did in that episode of Seinfeld where he did the opposite of what his instinct told him to do, and his life got way better.

Yeah, you're always supposed to shoot pregnant women on site. 

You'll like tommorow's episode then;)

Why did they finally kill the fvcker off??

reply

Chris is actually the most realistic character of the whole show.

I hated that kid from the very first episode. I made allowances because he was just a teen but as time goes by, he has shown himself to be a bad seed. He is just a nasty little son of a bitch and I hope he does get killed.

i hate to say it but yeah this character I was waiting to be killed off. I don't know if it was just the poor acting on the actors part or the writing from the writers but damn this kid was just bad. lets see first you have this whole 'i'm angry at my dad for not wanting to be with my mom, not my business by I made it mine so I decide to be a punk ass brat' thing going on. then he starts to make eyes at Alesha in S1, not sure if anyone caught that. then he lets those ass's on board, smart move. :/ then he starts the path of 'I think the world now works where its okay to kill people so I will' & starts to take human lives. pretty sure there was more than once where he killed a person. then he really starts to have psychotic tendencies & tries to kill Madison and Alesha. then he goes further off the deep end by siding with those other guys he barely knows and chooses them over his own father whom all he's done is try to protect him. lets not forget that he murdered a man without blinking & helped those guys kill the third guy by tricking his own father. yeah this kid was going to go down the path towards being a bad guy from the beginning of the end of the world. his father was holding on & frankly if it hadn't been for his dad he'd have been dead sometime during the first season. then again the only time I thought he was reasonably okay was during the first season...that was okay...afterwards downward spiral. so him being dead is good. maybe travis will grow a set of balls now. especially after what he did to the last two guys. cant say I blame him but they did him a favor...and he did the world a favor with what he did to them. okay rant over with. comments anyone?

reply

Same. Something about the kid even when he was acting admirable was just so unlikable. Then you watch Lorenzo on the talking dead & he seems like such a cool kid. He clearly did a good job.

As that great philosopher Bugs Bunny said, "Something tells me I shoulda stood in bed."

I'm glad that character is gone. The writing for him was so bad. I cheered when Travis starting beating those two punks to a pulp.

Now if they'd just kill off Nick, and bring back Daniel next season this show might just get better.

reply

Yes so true.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

reply

Yeah exactly, even if he was tricking his dad, what he said was true, which shows some forethought for the situation... so why he STILL went on with them, is absolutely beyond me!

They knew the other kid since they were 6, and went straight to murder without much thought because it was inconvenient for them to wait around or leave him.

What happens when Chris isn't 'useful' or stops being 'convenient' to them?

Well he should already know, by the example he took part in... but now he found out first hand! BOOM. 

Did he seriously think it would be any different for him? Was he so arrogant to think it WOULDN'T happen to him? He totally deserved everything he got, and more actually.

I can't believe anyone would be that short sighted and stupid, and trusting... To literally go off with psychopath people you just met, who put limits and conditions on you and your abilities and think nothing of murdering you for *beep* and giggles. Especially when you have other options.

It's honestly pathetic how sh!tty the writing is on this show. It was a wasted character with no real meaning for the progress he went on. I thought they would have went some sort of redeeming angle for him, right before he died. But nope. Complete waste. Like everything else in this show.

HAHA!

It reminds me of the dumb b!tches that gossip about everyone and everything, with no regard for truth and doesn't care about the pain it could cause to be spreading nasty rumors.
But when it's about them, they have the nerve to wonder who told everyone else about her own secrets, and be shocked and appalled the same people that they were doing this with, weren't loyal to them. It's like NO *beep* YA DUMB B!TCH!

I can't stand hypocrites with double standards like that, and types who literally expect different results while doing the same thing, it's the epitome of stupidity and arrogance, and narcissism. In that regards Chris is no different.

Not surprizing his dumb behavior since Mom kicked out Travis he probably had no Dad. Therefore he acts like his Mom.

Not an accidental character and a homage to single mothers.
