That Cartel?

So normally zombies would eat someone till they are picked to the bone but most of the cartel only had one or two bites? What gives?

Yeah. That was a weird one. We've learned that people in these shows tend to run away when bitten in the arm. They just die later. A bite to the neck though? The zombies are finishing you off right then and there.

The thing about zombies is that they always seem to prefer their food moving around and making noise. Even when there are people dying in from of them, enough motivation can move most of them to find the next meal. I do agree that there probably should have been a few more wounds though. I guess they wanted us to see for sure who the dead were.

So a walker snuck up on him during all the chaos and he was able to get away. His wound caused him to turn quickly and he used up his last round of ammo which prevented him from offing himself. Once you reach a particular stage with the infection...you are closer to becoming a walker than still being human. At that point, walkers won't eat you.

You don't think that make sense?

Have you ever heard of the point of no return?

The walkers can sense that you're a zombie and therefore won't eat you.

Just like wiping zombie guts all over yourself.
