What was the point of that stupid fence?

And the razor wire topping it, was that some kind of joke? A bolt cutter to cut it, or a shovel to dig a hole under it, and you're on your way. Idiot writers.

Are you saying there are no fences like that on the border? Then you'd be wrong.

Yep, we do have exactly that type of wall along parts of the US/Mexico border. Without looking, I assume that’s part of the border wall bill passed during the W administration, but I might be wrong. The OP was correct when he mentioned idiot writers, but I don’t think he realized he was talking about the Congressmen who wrote the bill authorizing the wall.

I’m sure Trump will build a much better wall. I can hardly wait.

It is like the chinese wall: the point is not to stop anybody, but to keep the horde from overruning the provinces and escaping with the loot before the auxilary troops arrive. The mongolians would have to dismount, get their bolt cutters from the saddle bags and cut a whole big enough for the largest packhorse into the chinese wall, losing valuable seconds. So it is a smart concept.

You could not be more correct. She walks forever along this fence, in the hot sun, when she only needed to scoop out a little dirt from under the fence to crawl underneath. The show writer is the worst writer ever.
