Im trying to really think about Chris descent to madness, we first see him at some protest in LA, ignoring his father (or moms) pleas to come home. the point is, it seemed kinda a abrupt. how does one go from happy go luck kid to kill kill kill in a matter of weeks

The kind of people who go to protests are not far off from committing murder. Sheep mentality. He probably was never spanked as a kid and has no idea what suffering is. Very low empathy as a result. So in order to protest you have to believe that your ideas and causes are more important than people's safety, transportation, and businesses. It's same lack of empathy. Just watch a protest on the news. Raving lunatics or dumb sheep.
