How the hell did Alejandro survive for so long after being bitten?

it took like a day or more for the virue to kill him wtf?

Not everyone dies at the same rate. it's also implied that he uses Antiseptics after being bitten, which possibly delays his death?

Yes, that plus the fact that the writers needed him to live a little longer in order to move the bus.

I guess, not everybody who is bitten falls into a coma after coming down with the fever, or perhaps it depends upon how much anti-fever medication is taken during the infection spread and body shutdown process.

Like I think was pointed out in the main show, everyone turns at different rates. Could be to do with immune system or something.

anywhere from 2 hours to 12 to turn after death, and up to 2 days to die from a bite , as explained in walking dead

Also depends where you're bit. If on a leg or arm it takes longer and if you can stop the turning by amputation if done soon after biting.

Wrong, by amputating a bitten limb you can avoid the deadly effect of the bite, not the turning. Also there's no indication that a bite on the torso kills you faster than a bite on the leg.
