How is Dev Patel Supporting in this film though?
I'm glad he's in that category because he'll have a better chance of being nominated, but his character is the lead in Lion without question. Is the little boy considered the lead male actor in the film?
I can't really answer that because I haven't seen the movie yet. It's only playing at one theater in my area on Christmas Day.

Agree on the Weinstein comment. Rooney in supporting for Carol was clearly catagory fraud. The Academy allows it, if they were to start bumping some of the back up then maybe the trend would reverse itself.
