the best movie is in the monster universe and a true underatted gem

first of let me say that yes i am aware that plot wise the entire monster universe is pretty bad but i dont really care because i watch those movies for the monsters scenes.

but if you compare this movie to the godzilla ones. mainly godzilla king of the monsters, this one is much better written overall

another thing i like about this movie is that it has alot of scenes in broad daylight. while in godzilla king of the monsters its all in the night and rain and you cant really see anything. king ghidorrah which is my favorite monster its very hard to see him in godzilla king of the monsters because all his scenes are at night

in this movie most scenes are in the day. the veriaty of monsters. the fact that its not only kong but there are other monsters as well. its just a fun movie to watch.

you may want to preach that this movie is badly written but then again. i dont watch those movies for plot. i watch them for the monsters. which this movie has ALOT of monsters scenes.

It's not a masterpiece, but I agree this one was worth several rewatches. I especially liked the story took place in the 70's during the Vietnam war.

Agree with you 💯. I wanted to like to the Godzilla movies but they aren't very good. This has a good balance of characters and monsters. Also, the daylight does help out a bunch. Actually getting to see them.

Yeah, this is my favorite and it's easily the best film in the MonsterVerse series. I think it's because the film crew actually got what kind of movie they were going for and just did it. No padding necessary and it stays around the 2 hour mark. It also helps that the human cast in this movie is actually entertaining to watch.
