The problem with many European actresses is that they're too pompous to actually give their best performance on screen. They have no personality. They are as bad as American male actors.

shareI think she was fine. Her character was not developed or used very well. A far cry from all the other Kong movies. So given her weak material, I think she herself did better than what could be expected of anyone.
Unlike Loki. His character was potentially one of the most interesting in the movie and yet his portrayal was meah at best.
In their defense, it seemed not to be a movie with much focus on acting takes. Goodman was surprisingly bland imo. Sam L Jackson was though quite good and of course John C Reilly was brilliant as always.
Of all the actors Tom Hiddleston was the biggest disappointment, I think. He phoned in his performance on a character that could have been pretty fuxing great.
Hiddleston was bad, Goodman was alright, Larsson also had nothing to do. I agree the only interesting characters were Samuel L. Jackson, who gets some backstory, and John C. Reilly, who gives us some exposition. Other than that it's a big cast of some very talented people wasted.
