"When Jaws die, nobody cry. When Kong die, people gonna cry," BS!

I cried when Jaws died. I have empathy for animals that were just doing their thing. Same as Kong. Or is it sympathy? Either way, it's sad when an animal gets killed only for being true to their nature.

Bruce's appetite was greater than average. Protecting our own from hungry sharks is true to our nature.

I'm also the type of person who was sad about the dog being eaten by the shark but the little kid? Not so much.

Meh. JAWS is a rather out of date look at sharks anyway. Chances are in the opening sequence the shark would have given up because Chrissie was too boney and resisted too much. They don't like that. Also the shark probably would have died from exhaustion during the film's third act. This is clearly no average shark.

Depends on the animal or the movie.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

I just don't know why they have to make another Kong movie where he may die. I don't care who dies in a movie as long as the animal lives.

Jaws was the bad guy.

Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Pantera, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan

Why? Because it just did what sharks do?

I read Cujo when i was about 13, and i did cry at the end.... Stephen King switched it up, literally in the last paragraph, where you suddenly feel sympathy for the dog.
