How many orginal creatures/kaiju will be featured in this movie?

How many types of creatures (several indivudals with one species does not count) including Kong will be seen in this movie? For example Godzilla had 2 types of creatures (the MUTOs and Godzilla himself), the 1976 King Kong had 2 types of creatures in the film (the giant snake and Kong himself)...you get the point (hopefully). I am wonder how many creatures will be featured in Kong Skull Island.

No one really knows yet. But it's a safe bet it will be much less than in Peter Jackson's King Kong. Since this film doesn't seem to be as focused on creating an extremely fantastical island. It's much more mundane looking. Not to say the island will be bad, but I'm not expecting the level of creatures we saw in Jackson's movie.

It simply won't be right if there's not a lot of creatures. It might not be as much as Jacksons but it shouldn't be far off.

So this Kong Skull Island film may have around 3-5 creatures, while the 2005 Kong had around ~13 creatures. Is that probably be a safe statement?

I mean if you count all the insects and arachnids and stuff like that, 2005 Kong had about 13 creatures just in that chasm scene. Not to mention all the dinosaurs, flying bats, water creatures. Say what you will about the movie, but that island was simply amazing, and a perfect backdrop for Kong.

No doubt about that. the island looked great in 2005 Kong ......except the dino stampede.

I think this new film should try and at least equal that. as many people have said it's not actually Kong that's the most interesting part of the films ......it's the island and it's creatures.

Good question. We know there's the giant spider and dinosaurs have inhabited the island too.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
