Stop Casting Sam Jackson in Every Freaking MOvie!!

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

yeah i don't get it either. i mean it's not a big deal or anything but the guy has been in pretty much everything these days. i'm not saying the guy can't act, i think he's a good actor but him being involved in this movie feels like an attempt to draw fans into the movie. average moviegoers will be like "sam jackson is in this? cool i'll give it a shot". i'm okay with Sam Jackson though he's not the reason i'm looking forward to this movie. i wanna see Kong, i wanna see emotion, i wanna see destruction, i wanna see rage, and i'll be seeing it all with my arms crossed over my chest.

It does seem like he's in almost everything these days.

Its true that he's in so many movies recently.

If there is a grievance, then it should be leveled at casting director Sarah Finn. Not only is she the casting director for Marvel's films, but Legendary's giant monster movies as well (she is currently the CD for PACIFIC RIM: MAELSTROM).

Plus, she and Jackson go back over a decade, when she first cast him in S.W.A.T. in 2003 and then COACH CARTER in 2005. Should Jackson's character somehow survive SKULL ISLAND, then it stands a good chance that Sarah will cast him in GODZILLA VS. KONG.
